Chefs in the Garden is a dinner series that features an artisan-prepared meal by notable regional chefs, delicious beer and wines, and show-stopping desserts. Guests and volunteers enjoy the beauty of late summer and early fall on our working urban farm in the heart of Ypsilanti.
Volunteers for the event will assist chefs, sign in guests, pass around appetizers, serve drinks, serve guests all meal courses, bus tables, clean dishes, and assist with tearing the event down. It's a fun event filled with smiling faces and happy bellies.
Volunteers are served any of the courses they wish to eat after all guests have been served. Come have a great time with great people, eat great food, and support the food sovereignty movement!
Shifts:
- Setup - 2-4:30 p.m.
- Serving/event help - 4:30-8 p.m.
- Cleanup - 7:30-10 p.m.
